Accreditation of Adoption Organizations With the Consular Division of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the USA and Canada

In order to accredit an adoption agency with the Consular Division of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the USA and Canada, the following notarized documents must be submitted to the Embassy's Consular Division (two copies of each, with Russian translations).

  1. A cover letter from the adoption agency requesting that the agency in question be accredited by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the USA and Canada, addressed to Z. Sydykova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United States and Canada;
  2. A cover letter from the adoption agency requesting that the agency in question be accredited by the Kyrgyz Republic Ministry of Education, Science and Youth Policy, addressed to Minister I. S. Boldzhurova.
  3. the agency's by-laws;
  4. the adoption agency's license;
  5. the social worker's license;
  6. the license of the home study agency;
  7. an agreement between the organization and the Kyrgyz Republic Ministry of Education and Science (or, if such does not exist, a request letter from the Kyrgyz Republic Ministry of Education and Science);
  8. a document confirming the agency's accreditation in compliance with the Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Co-operation in Respect of Intercountry Adoption of May 29, 1993.
